Sunfloor, is an extremely easy to install engineered flooring, ideal for use as a floating floor. It is as versatile as it is beautiful; it can also be nailed, stapled, or glued down. With the floating installation system, each plank is held in place by the precisely fitted tongue and groove of the adjoining piece, along with adhesive. It can be installed over any grade sub-floor and even below grade applications such as basements. In most cases, it can be installed over any existing smooth sub-floor. Since sunfloor is pre-finished with 6 layers of UV acrylic finish at the factory, it requires no sanding or finishing and is ready to walk on the same day it is installed. Sunfloor is the ideal choice for both remodeling and new construction projects.
The 3-layer construction of the engineered flooring economizes on the use of limited-availability hardwoods, while using fast growing species grown in sustainable forests and plantations for the middle layer and backside.
