The new millenium will accommodate the average guy’s design standard for his bathroom renovation beyond his expectations. These bizarre bathroom installations offer men what they love most, women, drink and humor. Get drunk with the guys from work, and laugh your guts out as you’re puking into a urinal shaped like a woman’s lips.
These vulgar men’s restrooms were so offensive, they were removed from JFK airport in New York and from a McDonalds in the Netherlands. The people in the Netherlands must really appreciate artistic bathrooms, however, because I’ve never seen a McDonalds with a bathroom larger than two square feet in some scum tiled corner.
Talk about reinstating gender roles. Is the progress toward asexual bathrooms being completely undone? Or are we so advanced beyond gender stereotyping, we can appreciate the humor in it? The gay community in England’s Brighton loves Bathroom Mania’s Kisses urinals. Maybe a part of the offended population is just uncomfortable with sexuality. Maybe it’s subjugating to women and creating the perfect environment for a boys only club. Women certainly aren’t supposed to see these bathrooms. Fair enough. Anyways, I personally would not want to lean over a woman’s behind to wash my hands. No matter how clean you get, you still feel dirty.
Having the perfect bathroom isn’t just about the sex appeal. There’s got to be an adventure to motivate men to get out of bed to use the toilet. Nothing beats pissing in a skull. The pirate toilet brings a swashbuckling masculinity to a home.
It might scare any potential girlfriend away, but finding the perfect toilet overnight isn’t easy when you’re a guy yearning for something more.
This next one kind of makes me wants to hurl. The urinal is a creepy cartoon man opening wide for a drink of urine. It can only be funny if you don’t think about it too hard, but who can help themselves?
If peeing with other men isn’t awkward enough, these innovative bathroom designs kick things up a notch.
One could urinate and defecate in front of thousands walking by.
This mirrored wall gives a wider view of everybody in the restroom. It’s actually quite striking.
Nothing like a pair of Bangkok beauties ogling a man’s member to make him relax enough to do his business. Or, wait. That actually doesn’t make any sense at all. That must be why this is a quirky men’s bathroom. The girls giggle at the unsuspecting bathroom goer. I can’t help but feel like I’m missing some cultural context here.
Often people underestimate the importance of the toilet, and the decor of their bathrooms. These vaguely humiliating urinals exist because they’re funny. Toilet humor will always fascinate human beings (particularly adolescent males). If these bathrooms don’t at least inspire your college hipster pad, I hope they at least tickled you.
