If your computer looks like it’s headed into its death throes, or you’re getting more than a little nervous about that horrible grinding sound, it might just be time to back up your data. The best way to do it is to copy your files onto a separate drive – a portable hard drive, external hard drive, thumb drive, or just a plain old spare hard drive, in duplicate or even triplicate. And it can’t hurt to trust your most important files to the cloud, and back them up with Dropbox. Continue reading →
