Red Oak Hardwood FLooring

As America's most popular flooring choice, our straight-grained Red Oak offers a much more formal look than the normal plain-sawn variety. Red Oak offers a medium range of color variability from lighter tan tones with pinkish highlights to darker browns. Grain is open, slightly coarser (more porous) than white oak. Red Oak hardwood flooring undergoes a medium degree of color change over time with a slight ambering of the pinkish tan brown color you get when freshly milled. Oak may be used both residentially and commercially wherever the classic look of American red oak is desired. Cases of contact dermatitis have been known to occur. Care should be taken when coming into contact with Red Oak saw dust.
