Johnson Premium Hardwood Flooring was founded in 1999 in Southern California, and has been one of the earliest companies that brought in exotic floors made of South American species. Today, the company continues to provide the finest exotic flooring available in the market place. Additionally, the company continues to strive to introduce exciting new hardwood species, ranging from a variety of solids and engineered flooring.
Johnson Premium Hardwood Flooring owns a long-term harvest right of various forest locations in South America. Some unique species can only be found in our forests, such as Santo Mahogany (one with distinctive spicy odor), Patagonia Rosewood (hardest wood used for flooring at 3,840-psi), Brazilian Cherry (also called Jatoba and is most well-known and largest selling South American wood), Brazilian Oak (light reddish - brown color similar to the North American Red Oak). Other popular exotic wood floors like Lapacho, Ivorywoord, Grapia, Kempas, and Flamewood, etc. are found only in our harvested lots. Furthermore, the company has expanded its product line to include Oak, Red Oak and Distressed Flooring (solid and engineered).
