PalmiraPalmira is a feminine soul from XIX BC, a Syrian city known as the queen of the desert that grew from a trail of caravans that were crossing the silk route. It had its own language and art, the palmireno. The city was founded in limestone, a gilded stone of the mountains that surrounded the city. The limestone is what Keramia used as inspiration to create the Palmira series, with shade variation and textured as if eroded by the constant wind. The tiles, whether on walls or on the floor give the room the feel of the open desert, yet inside the safe walls of a room.
